1. Payment Terms
All reservations must be paid in full by the CLIENT at the time of booking, unless a written agreement specifying alternative payment terms has been executed and confirmed by DEMTUR.
Reservations shall be deemed confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
All payments must be made in the currency indicated on the relevant invoice and through the accepted methods specified at the time of transaction.
Non-Payment or Incomplete Payment
In the event that payment is not received by the specified due date, or if the payment is incomplete due to, but not limited to, bank charges, currency exchange discrepancies, or other transactional deductions, DEMTUR reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, to cancel the reservation.
Under such circumstances, the CLIENT and/or the end user shall not be entitled to any compensation, refund, or fulfillment of services.
The CLIENT shall bear sole responsibility for all costs or shortfalls associated with payment processing, including, but not limited to, international bank fees, currency conversion charges, and related banking expenses.
2. General Terms of Service
These terms are to be read in conjunction with the payment provisions set forth above and shall not supersede them. In the event of any conflict, specific service terms shall prevail.
Accommodation Services (Non-Group Bookings)
Children’s Discounts: Terms applicable to children vary by service provider. It is the responsibility of the CLIENT to confirm eligibility and applicable rates at the time of booking.
Cribs/Cots: These items are limited in availability and must be requested during the booking process. Additional charges may apply and are typically payable directly to the accommodation provider.
Third Person Occupancy: Accommodation for a third adult is generally arranged via an extra bed in a double room. Availability and applicable charges vary by establishment and must be confirmed in advance.
No-Show Policy
Failure by the final consumer to appear at the accommodation establishment on the scheduled date of arrival, without prior notification, shall be considered a cancellation. No refund or credit shall be issued unless specifically approved in advance by DEMTUR. Cancellation charges may range from one night to the full value of the reservation.
3. Modifications and Cancellations
Modifications
Any reduction in the duration of stay, changes to the names of guests, or alterations to the services reserved after confirmation shall be treated as a cancellation unless expressly authorized by DEMTUR. Requests to extend services are subject to availability and may result in price adjustments.
Cancellations
Cancellation terms for each service are explicitly detailed during the booking process and may include classifications such as non-refundable or other specified conditions.
It is the CLIENT’s sole responsibility to carefully review these terms prior to confirming the booking and initiating payment, as policies may vary by service type or provider.
4. Client Responsibilities and Liability
The CLIENT shall be fully responsible for the conduct of the end users utilizing the services booked. In the event of misconduct, including but not limited to inappropriate behavior or damage to property, DEMTUR and/or the service provider reserve the right to cancel services immediately without liability or refund.
The CLIENT agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DEMTUR against any and all claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising directly or indirectly from:
Breaches of these terms by the CLIENT, its employees, agents, or contractors; or
Any negligent or wrongful act or omission by the CLIENT or its representatives during the course of service usage.
DEMTUR’s total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall in no event exceed the total amount paid by the CLIENT for the specific service giving rise to the claim. DEMTUR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, or business interruption.
5. DEMTUR’s Role and Liability Disclaimer
DEMTUR acts solely as an independent intermediary between the CLIENT and third-party service providers (including but not limited to hotels, transportation operators, and local agencies). As such, DEMTUR shall not be held liable for:
Injury, illness, death, loss, damage, theft, delay, or any other irregularity arising from the provision of services by the supplier;
Claims not reported by the end user during the period of service utilization.
All claims regarding the quality or execution of services must be directed to the applicable service provider. DEMTUR shall not mediate or process any claims submitted post-departure or after the conclusion of the service period unless previously reported during the stay.
